Bringing Hollywood
to Huntington
The business of film and television production is rapidly growing!
In response, Ed Smyth, Supervisor of the Town of Huntington (left in photo), appointed Joe Schramm (right in photo) to start up the Town’s new Office of Film & Television with the goal of promoting Huntington as a new hub for the film and TV production industry.

The Office has two objectives:
To increase the number of location shoots, and
To expand the number of production facilities in the Town.
The Studios at Huntington Station
The Office of Film & Television has proposed a site adjacent to Huntington train station as a possible location for development of a state-of-the art and environmentally-friendly, 200,000 square foot production facility, including three sound stages, a mill (workshop for set construction), production offices, a welcome center for the public with a screening room, exhibition and reception spaces, as well as an exterior garden/green space that is open to the public. The Studios will have direct access from the train station for employees, business clients, and visitors who are tourists and live audience participants.
